Submission Checklist
HealthCare Research Journal (HCRJ) has a comprehensive checklist to help authors ensure their manuscripts meet all necessary criteria before submission. Please review each item carefully to facilitate a smooth and efficient review process. By completing this checklist, authors can ensure their manuscript is fully prepared for submission and meets the high standards expected by the HealthCare Research Journal (HCRJ).
Manuscript Preparation
- References should follow the standards summarized in the NLM’s Sample References webpage and detailed in the NLM’s Citing Medicine, 2nd edition.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines
- All figures and tables are properly labeled and referenced in the text.
- Title page includes title, authors’ names, affiliations, and contact information for the corresponding author.
- Abstract is within the word limit and summarizes the key aspects of the study.
- Manuscript sections are organized as per the article type as mentioned in
Manuscript Types
- The manuscript is free of plagiarism and properly cites all sources.
- The study design and methods are described in detail.
- Results are clearly presented with appropriate use of figures and tables.
- Discussion interprets the results, compares them with previous studies, and highlights the study’s significance.
- Conclusion succinctly summarizes the main findings and their implications.
- The study has received ethical approval from the relevant ethics committee or institutional review board (IRB).
- Informed consent has been obtained from all participants, if applicable.
- Any conflicts of interest are disclosed.
Document and File Preparation
- Manuscript file is in Word or PDF format.
- All figures and tables are included in the manuscript file or uploaded separately.
- Supplementary materials, if any, are uploaded as separate files.
- High-resolution images and raw data files are prepared for submission.
- A cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief is included, briefly describing the significance of the work and its relevance to the journal.
- ICMJE Disclosure Forms for all authors are completed and submitted, detailing any conflicts of interest and sources of funding.
Online Submission
- Manuscript is submitted through the
Online submission Form.
- All fields in the submission form are completed, including author information, manuscript details, and suggested reviewers.
Post-Submission
- The corresponding author’s contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
- The corresponding author is prepared to handle all correspondence regarding the manuscript.
Final Checks
- Manuscript has been proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
- All references are formatted according to the journal’s citation style.
- Data availability statement is included, specifying whether data is publicly available and where it can be accessed.
